The current appearance and consistency of the building are due to a reorganisation carried out in 1827<br>by Architect Giovan Battista Silvestri. The Palazzo is famous for having hosted the Gran Caffè Doney, a meeting place for the "bella società" during the period when Florence was the capital. The works carried out allowed for the complete restoration of the articulated main façade on<br>Via dei Tornabuoni.
